Day 1 Johannesburg / Hazyview / Kruger National Park / Hazyview
Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer by road to the Kruger area, crossing the Mpumalanga province and the Panorama Route. Arrival at the lodge and enjoy a light lunch, free time, and in the afternoon, enjoy a sunset game drive in the park in open-top 4x4 vehicles, led by expert rangers. This iconic 18,000 km² park is home to baobabs, acacias, and amarula trees that shade plains dotted with small rocky areas. The park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife in the country. It is home to the "Big Five," as well as white and black rhinos, giraffes, wild dogs, baboons, zebras, and warthogs, along with other herbivores and over 490 species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Hazyview/Kruger National Park/Hazyview (Half Board)
Early morning, with a picnic breakfast, we depart for Kruger National Park for a full-day safari. Return to the lodge, and the afternoon is free. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Hazyview (Half Board)
Breakfast at the scheduled time. Visit the Blyde River Canyon, geological formations formed by centuries of water erosion (visits subject to availability and weather conditions). Hike to God's Window for views of the canyon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Hazyview/Johannesburg
Early morning safari through the reserve in search of the Big 5. We'll stop briefly in the park for a light snack. We'll return to the lodge and depart by road for Johannesburg airport.
