SAFARI AMANI - Sopa

Arrival at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Boarding formalities and departure on a flight to Nairobi. Overnight on board.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Departure towards Lake Nakuru. On the way, stop at a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the Grand Rift Valley. Lunch and afternoon safari at Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is known for being one of the best places for bird watching, especially pelicans and flamingos. In addition, you can see several families of white rhinos that inhabit the area. Continue to the lodge. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the Rift Valley, the village of Mai Mahiu and the town of Narok. Arrival in Masai Mara around lunchtime. In the evening, safari through Kenya's most popular reserve. Dinner and accommodation.

Safari day in the Maasai Mara with the option of a full day's safari with picnic lunch, or a photographic safari in the morning and late afternoon, returning to the lodge for lunch. With more than 1500 km², a place of varied wildlife and eternal savannah landscapes, the Maasai Mara is the perfect place to enjoy a safari. Every year, between June and July, the great migration reaches the green pastures from Tanzania. You'll have the chance to spot the Big 5: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards and rhinos. Dinner and accommodation.

Optional (not included): hot air balloon safari at sunrise or a visit to a Maasai village. 

Breakfast. Return to Nairobi. Arrival around midday and transfer to the "Carnivore" restaurant, famous for its grilled meats, for lunch. Day at leisure. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure to the southeast of the country, passing through Athi, the Kapiti plains, approaching Amboseli, between savannahs and scattered acacia trees. Arrival in time for lunch. In the afternoon, departure for a safari. Depending on the weather, you may be able to see the sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the most spectacular moments for photographing Kilimanjaro. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Return to the hotel in Nairobi (accommodation and meals not included). Rest of the afternoon at leisure. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport. Boarding formalities and departure on a flight back to Portugal.
