Safari Rift Valley - Serena Lodges

Arrival at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Boarding formalities and departure on a flight to Nairobi. Overnight on board.

Arrival in Nairobi. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Breakfast. On the way, crossing the fertile fields, you will pass the road built by Italian prisoners during the Second World War, see a chapel by the escarpment and pass the Longonot satellite ground station towards Narok. The drive continues through fields of wheat and barley, before arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Afternoon safari. Arrival at the lodge at sunset. Dinner and accommodation.

Early in the morning, breakfast and departure for the safari. Return to the lodge mid-morning. Lunch and some time to rest. Afternoon safari and visit to the Masai village, returning to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Leaving Masai Mara, drive through vast fields of wheat and barley to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Continue your journey through the plains of the Great Rift Valley, stopping along the way for a picnic lunch. After lunch, set off towards Lake Nakuru National Park and, along the way, spot giraffes and gazelles as you pass Mai-Mahiu. Arrival at the park and safari. In the park you can spot birds and some flamingos (although they are rarer in this area). The park is also home to rare black and white rhinos as well as Rothschild giraffes. In the late afternoon, departure for the camp located in the Soysambu Conservancy. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure to Nairobi, arriving in the late morning. Lunch. Transfer to the airport and board the flight back to Portugal. Night on board.
