Kibale National Park Uganda

The Kibale National Park is a protected area in southern Uganda, it is a territory of 776 square kilometers and is located between 1,100 and 1,600 meters of altitude. This place awaits a great variety of landscapes and is one of the last remaining spaces with large tracts of lowlands and montane forests. The Park was created in 1932 but formally established in 1993; in addition, it forms a continuous forest with the Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is an important ecological tourist destination and perfect for safaris, very popular for its population of chimpanzees and 12 other species of primates. But it is also home to other fascinating species, such as the leopard, the buffalo, the duiker and the river hopper. There are also for bird lovers, as they will be able to marvel at the 372 species recorded in the park, which fly along with 250 species of butterflies. This wonderful place, in addition to incredible activities, also offers very comfortable accommodations and an unforgettable experience.
