DAY 1 – DELHI
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – DELHI
Breakfast. Visit of Old Delhi: starting with the great mosque of Jama Masjid with a rickshaw ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk and then the Raj Ghat monument, where Gandhi was cremated. Then visit of the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple of Sikh religion. Lunch. Continuation of the tour to the Rashtrapati Bhavan district, where all the important government buildings such as the national parliament, the Gateway of India and the Salt March monument are located. Visit the tallest minaret in the world, Qutub Minar. End the day with the Akshardham Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the world to date. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 3 – DELHI / SHAHPURA / JAIPUR
Breakfast. Depart for Jaipur, the famous ‘pink city’ of Rajasthan. En route stop at Shahpura where you will take a pleasant walk through the village and have lunch at the palace. Continue to Jaipur and on arrival visit the Birla temple with the Aarti ceremony. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4 – JAIPUR / AMBER / JAIPUR
Breakfast. Excursion to Amber Fort with ascent and descent by jeep. Return to Jaipur. Lunch. Visit the City Palace, with its famous Facade of the Winds, and the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 5 – JAIPUR / ABHANERI / SUROTH
Breakfast. Departure to Suroth making a stop at Abhaneri to visit its step well. Arrival and lunch at the palace. Drive through the village and visit a local house where you can discover how Hindu families live. Return to the palace to attend a cooking class and dinner. Accommodation.
DAY 6 – SUROTH / FATEHPUR SIKRI / AGRA
Breakfast. Continuation through the arid landscapes of Rajasthan to Fatehpur Sikri, the “ghost city” of the Mughal Empire. This impressive collection of palaces, pavilions and mosques demonstrates the might and wealth of the empire. After this unforgettable visit, continuation to Agra. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 7 – AGRA
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the Taj Mahal. In addition to its breathtaking architectural beauty, it is an eternal symbol of love and an enduring representation of the greatness of the Mughal Empire. Lunch. Continue the day by visiting the Agra Fort, an imposing red stone fortress that was an important center of power in the Mughal Empire. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 8 – AGRA / DELHI
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to Delhi airport for your next flight.
