Day 1 Windhoek / Waterberg (Half Board) (280 Km)

Arrival in Windhoek, transfer to the rental car pick up area, where you will pick up your vehicle. Departure in your rental car to Waterberg. Arrival at the lodge, dinner and overnight. 


Day 2 Waterberg / Etosha National Park (Half Board) (255 Km)

Breakfast and departure by road to Etosha N.P.. On the way, we recommend a stop in Otjiwarongo and Otavi, before continuing to Tsumeb, gateway to the park in the north. Arrival and overnight, optional afternoon safari in the park. Dinner and overnight. 


Day 3 Etosha National Park (Half board) 

Breakfast. Possibility of a full day safari in the park, with your own rental vehicle or with the park's own vehicles. The park offers a particular approach to the wildlife of the place, adapted to the arid and dry environment. You will be able to see among other species: elephants, black rhinos, cheetahs and black-fronted impalas. During the tour, we recommend stopping at the “waterholes” where wildlife congregate to drink on its banks. Dinner and overnight. 

 

Day 4 Etosha National Park / Windhoek (580 Km)

Breakfast. Early in the morning, departure by road in your vehicle to return to Windhoek. Rest of the day at leisure. Lodging.


Day 5 Windhoek

Breakfast, transfer in your rental car to the airport, return the car and transfer to the terminal.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL CAR


Included:

  • Unlimited mileage.
  • Local taxes (VAT).
  • Zero excess collision damage waiver, including glass and tires, provided no negligence is proven.
  • Emergency contact service information.
  • Replacement vehicle in the event of an accident, except where the loss or damage or the event giving rise thereto was due to the negligence of the renters or the driver (authorized or not) of the vehicle.
  • Second driver (if indicated on the rental form).


Does not include:

  • Damage to a third party or the rented vehicle due to negligence or improper driving.
  • Loss or damage to antennas, jack, triangles and safety vests, windshield, windshield wipers, gas cap, luggage covers or any other fixed or movable component of the vehicle.
  • Damage to the engine due to negligence.
  • Theft of the vehicle with the keys left in the ignition.
  • Damage caused to the vehicle or persons while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Fines for violating traffic laws and regulations during the rental period are the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle. In case a fine is received, an administrative fee will be charged.
  • Any additional equipment (GPS, baby seat, etc.).


Important Notes

  • Car provided: Car group R = Toyota 4x4 Double Cab or similar.
  • The minimum age to rent a vehicle or be a driver is 21 years old.
  • All drivers must hold a valid driver's license.

 

TUI Recommends

  • At the entrance to Etosha, it is recommended that you purchase a map of the park, as well as some snacks to make the most of your day on safari. Although many roads are paved, the roads closest to the parks are gravel roads so it is recommended that you purchase extra insurance coverage for your vehicle at your destination.
