Day 1 Rincón de la Vieja
Arrival at Liberia airport and transfer to the hotel in Rincón de la Vieja. Accommodation.
Day 2 Rincón de la Vieja / Bijagua
Breakfast. Visit of Rincón de la Vieja National Park to the section known as Las Pailas. The area spectacularly displays the awesome power of the Rincón de la Vieja volcano, the largest and most active volcano in the region. In the early afternoon, transfer from Rincón de la Vieja to Bijagua, a small town nestled between two volcanoes, Miravalles and Tenorio. Accommodation.
Day 3 Bijagua
Breakfast. We begin the day with a hike to Río Celeste, the stunning "clear blue river." Its stunning azure waters, a rare natural wonder, create an unforgettable sight. As you follow the winding river path, immerse yourself in the serenity of the lush surroundings and discover the steaming hot springs. Return to the hotel. Free time. Accommodation.
Day 4 Bijagua / Monteverde
Breakfast. Departure for Monteverde, a place of cloud forests, mist, coffee plantations, and friendly people. Arrival and free time. We recommend the optional canopy and hanging bridges excursion or an interesting coffee tour. Accommodation.
Day 5 Monteverde
Breakfast. Hike through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, renowned for its incredible biodiversity. It has four ecological "life zones" with different ecosystems and hundreds of species of mammals, birds, butterflies, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and arachnids, as well as a wide variety of flora, such as mosses, vines, and native cloud forest trees. Day 6 Monteverde / Manuel Antonio
Breakfast. Departure for the Quepos area, home to one of the most visited National Parks in the country, Manuel Antonio National Park. Arrival and free time. We suggest an optional catamaran excursion or ocean kayaking trip. Accommodation.
Day 7 Manuel Antonio
Breakfast. Visit to Manuel Antonio National Park. During today's tour of the park, an expert nature guide will lead us through the park and explain the mysteries of the rainforest. One of the highlights of this tour is that Manuel Antonio is home to three of the four tropical primates that live in Costa Rica. Halfway through the hike, enjoy a relaxing stop at the world-famous "Third Beach." After the tour, you can return to your hotel or enjoy a free day. Accommodation.
Day 8 Manuel Antonio / Liberia
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport.
