Up-and-coming islands
Around 400 miles off the coast of Senegal, these once-overlooked islands are stepping into the spotlight. One look at the beaches and you’ll understand how the island earned its nickname. Boa Vista is fringed by 55 kilometres of coastline, where rugged rocky coves melt seamlessly into sweeping bays of soft white sand.

Many of Boa Vista’s hotels sit close to the small, friendly town of Sal Rei, giving visitors a taste of the island’s laid-back way of life. Just along the coast, you’ll also find two impressive RIU hotels, where guests can fully relax with all-inclusive stays. Staying nearby means you’re within easy reach of Sal Rei’s pastel-coloured streets, dotted with surf shops, local markets and welcoming cafés.
