Day 1 Colombo / Dambulla
Arrival, reception and departure to Dambulla, the ideal base to visit of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. Arrival at the hotel. Optionally, we propose you enjoy a 45-minute Ayurvedic massage (not included). Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 Dambulla / Anuradhapura / Mihintale / Dambulla
Breakfast. Full day visit of Anuradhapura, capital of Sri Lanka from the V century BC until the X century AD, where you can see the gigantic Dagobas of Jethavana and Abhayagiri, the sacred tree Sri Maha Bodhi and the ruins of the Bronze Palace, built in the II century BC. Continuation to Mihintale, a sacred site for Buddhists, as this cult spread in Sri Lanka in the III century BC from this location. From the top of the rock, enjoy a view over the surrounding jungle. Return to Dambulla. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Dambulla / Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Dambulla
Breakfast. In the morning, visit of the Lion Rock of Sigiriya, a superb fortress built by King Kasyapa in the V century, with its world-famous frescoes of the "Golden Maidens." In the afternoon, visit of Polonnaruwa, the capital of Sri Lanka in the 11th and 12th centuries, where you can admire the ruins of the Royal Palace and the statues of Gal Vihara with the four great Buddhas carved in granite rock. Optional visit (not included) to Minneriya National Park, where you can enjoy a safari in one of the most important elephant migration centers in the country. Return to Dambulla. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 Dambulla / Matale / Kandy
Breakfast. Departure for Kandy, and, on the way, visit of the Dambulla caves, which were transformed into Buddhist temples in the II century BC. In total there are 5 caves with 150 statues, including the Reclining Buddha with 14 meters in height. Continuation of the journey visiting the spice garden in Matale and a Batik factory. Arrival in Kandy. In the afternoon, visit of the temple where a tooth of Buddha is preserved as a relic. At night, folklore show with typical Sri Lankan dances. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 Kandy / Peradeniya / Kandy
Breakfast. Departure to Peradeniya to visit the famous Botanical Garden, the largest in the country, which houses more than 4000 species of plants. Return to Kandy to visit the hill temple, Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya, known for its gigantic Buddha statue. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Breakfast. Departure for Nuwara Eliya. On the way, visit to a tea plantation, where you can see the selection and processing procedures. Arrival and, in the afternoon, visit of the village. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Yala National Park
Breakfast. Departure for Ella through the beautiful green landscapes of the Central Highlands, accompanied by attractions such as the 9 Arch Bridge and the Ravana waterfall. Continuation to Yala National Park, located in the southeast of the island. This 1295km² park is bounded to the north by the Lahugala elephant reserve. Its vegetation varies between dense jungle and open, rocky areas, its abundant lagoons and rivers provide the necessary water for the wildlife that inhabits it, with elephants being particularly abundant. Photo safari during the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 Yala National Park / Weligama / Galle / Colombo
Breakfast. Departure by road to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. On the way, visit of the famous fishermen of Weligama, and panoramic visit of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage city, known for its ancient Dutch fortress. Arrival in Colombo in the afternoon, panoramic tour of the city: the Fort area and the bazaar, Independence Square, the residential area of "Cinnamon Gardens" and the Old Parliament. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 Colombo
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport.

- The departures for this circuit require a minimum group formation. In case the selected departure does not reach 4 passengers, the supplement for non-formation of group (2-3 passengers) will be applied.
