CONTRASTS OF IMPERIAL MOROCCO AND KASBAHS

Day 1 Casablanca

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2 Casablanca / Rabat / Fez

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Casablanca and the Hassan II Mosque (exterior). Departure for Rabat. Panoramic tour of the city including the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of Oudaya and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. Transfer to Fez. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 Fez

Breakfast. Visit of Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities. Panoramic view from a nearby hill and visit of the bronze doors of the Royal Palace and the medina, with its madrassas and artisan quarters, such as the Tanners' Quarter. Time at leisure for shopping. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 Fez / Midelt / Merzouga

Breakfast. Departure through the Atlas Mountains to Midelt and time at leisure. Continuation along a beautiful route impregnated with Berber life. Arrival in Erfoud and travel by 4x4 to the high dunes of Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a desert hotel. Possibility of accommodation in a tent. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 Merzouga / Todra Gorges / Route of the Kasbahs / Kella M'Gouna / Ouarzazate

Breakfast. Early departure for Erfoud and change of transport. Departure for the Todra Gorges, a narrow gorge over 300m high. Time at leisure. Continuation of the route of the Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, via Kella M'Gouna, famous for its roses and perfumes. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 Ouarzazate / Ait Ben Haddou / Marrakech

Breakfast. Visit of the Kasbah Taourirt (exterior), former residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Continuation to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most imposing ksar in southern Morocco. Departure for Marrakech. Accommodation.

Day 7 Marrakech

Breakfast. Visit of Marrakech with the Koutoubia Minaret and the Bahia Palace, an example of the Muslim Middle Ages. Walk to Jemaa el Fna Square, the nerve center of the medina, from where all the narrow streets and souks that compose it depart. Accommodation.

Day 8 Marrakech

Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport.

Remarks:

• Hotels in Morocco have an official category that does not coincide with the European category, so we recommend classifying them with one less star than the official category.
• During Ramadan, the country's major religious holiday period, monuments will undergo changes in schedules and closures, which will be communicated as soon as possible.
• During the Feast of the Lamb, we advise against visiting the country due to the large number of visits that cannot be made due to this holiday.
