IMPERIAL MOROCCO

Indicative itinerary subject to changes until departure date

Day 1 Casablanca

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner (for arrivals at the hotel before 7:00 PM) and accommodation.

Day 2 Casablanca / Rabat / Fez

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Casablanca, a modern and lively city: the Arab League Square, Mohamed V Square, the elegant Anfa district and the Corniche, a boulevard that runs along the sea. The visit ends at the famous and pharaonic work of the Hassan II Mosque (optional interior visit, not included) where its impressive ceiling and minaret, considered the highest in the world, stand out. Departure for Rabat, capital of the country, with its historic center designated a World Heritage Site. Panoramic tour of the Royal Palace (exterior), the Kasbah of Oudaya and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, next to which is the Hassan Tower. Transfer to Fez. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 Fez

Breakfast. Full day visit of Fez, the oldest of the Imperial Cities, founded in 808 as the first political, religious and cultural capital of Morocco. The visit begins with a spectacular panoramic view from one of the hills surrounding the city, and then tour of the bronze doors of the Royal Palace. Afterwards, enter the medina on foot to visit the madrassas and workshops of the artisan quarters, such as the spectacular Tanners' Quarter. Time at leisure for shopping. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 Fez / Ifrane / Marrakech

Breakfast. Departure for the picturesque Ifrane with its pointed slate roofs. Continuation to Marrakech. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 5 Marrakech

Breakfast. Visit of Marrakech. With its numerous monuments designated as World Heritage, this city is the main tourist attraction of the country. The visit begins with the Koutoubia Minaret (13th century), sister of the Giralda in Seville, of splendid harmony it is, at present, the lighthouse and spiritual center of Marrakech. Visit to the Bahia Palace, residence of the former vizier, an example of the Muslim Middle Ages and where its hall of ambassadors stands out. Continuation on foot to Jemaa el-Fna Square, the nerve center of the medina, from where all the alleys and souks that compose it depart. In the morning it fills with vendors of fruits, wicker baskets, sweets; with the fall of the evening everything becomes fascinating when the square is illuminated with a thousand lights. Accommodation.

Days 6 to 7 Marrakech

Breakfast. Days at leisure to enjoy the city. Let yourself be enveloped by its labyrinthine alleys, its souks and open-air stalls. Accommodation.

Day 8 Marrakech

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.

Observations:

• Hotels in Morocco have an official category that does not coincide with the European category, so we recommend classifying them with one less star than the official category.
• During Ramadan, the country's major religious holiday period, monuments will undergo changes in schedules and closures, which will be communicated as soon as possible.
• During the Feast of the Lamb, we advise against visiting the country due to the large number of visits that cannot be made due to this holiday.
