CHRISTMAS IN LAPLAND

Day 1 Spain / Kittilä / Levi

Arrival at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Boarding formalities and departure by flight to Kittilä, via Helsinki. Welcome to Lapland and the world of endless snow! During the journey, the guide will present the travel program for the next five days. Collection of thermal equipment that will be used throughout the stay in Lapland. Accommodation.

Day 2 Elf Village, Meeting With Santa Claus

Breakfast. In the morning, departure by bus to the Elf Village. Located on the banks of the Ounasjoki River, this is a charming family complex inspired by the myths and stories of elves. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by an elf who will give you a secret map of the area and guide you through the magical forest. Follow the elf to the interior of the "gingerbread house," where you will have the opportunity to make delicious cookies. Throughout the journey, the elves will help you discover their secret magical places and share with you stories about their life in the village. Finally, the most awaited moment arrives: the meeting with Santa Claus! Each family will be able to meet privately with him in the elves' office, deliver their letter and take their own photographs. Santa Claus will offer a gift to each child under 10 years old. Return to the hotel. Lunch. Free afternoon or possibility to participate in the optional snowshoe excursion: accompanied by the guide, departure for the forest where you will walk a trail of reduced difficulty that will lead you to a frozen lake; before returning to the hotel, stop to enjoy the warmth of the bonfire while savoring a cup of hot drinks and cookies. Day 3 Snowmobile, Safari and Ice Fishing

Breakfast. Travel to the safari office to collect the helmet and gloves necessary for the snowmobile safari excursion. The guides will explain the instructions for use and safety regulations. Adults will share the snowmobile, while children do the activity on the sled driven by the guide. Discover the thrill of driving a snowmobile through rivers and forests covered in snow. During the journey, the guide will choose a good place to drill a hole in the ice and, with a little luck, the fish will be waiting to be caught. Then, pause for a light lunch by the bonfire, accompanied by hot drinks. Return by snowmobile to the hotel. Rest of the afternoon free. Accommodation.

Day 4 Husky Sled Safari and Reindeer Sled Ride

Breakfast. In the morning, departure by bus to a husky farm where the barking of the enthusiastic dogs will welcome you. Before starting the excursion, receive instructions on how to control the sled on which you will travel in pairs. Enter nature with the husky team. During the 5km journey, enjoy the wild beauty, take the opportunity to take photographs at the farm. In the kota, hot drinks and cookies will be served. After the excursion, return to Levi for lunch. In the afternoon, departure for a reindeer farm to take a reindeer sled ride through a snow-covered forest. After the ride, accommodation in a warm Lappish "tipi" to savor coffee or tea and listen to stories about reindeer herding. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 5 Levi / Kittilä / Spain

Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to Kittilä airport and return flight, via Helsinki. Arrival.
