Day 1 Portugal / Seoul
Arrival at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Check-in formalities on flight to Seoul. Night on board.
Day 2 Seoul
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.
Day 3 Seoul
Breakfast. Half-day city tour including Changdeok Palace and Gwangjang Market which has maintained its history and charm of a traditional market. Then visit the National Museum with an interesting collection of Korean art. Continue to COEX Shopping Center where we can appreciate the Byeolmadang library. Next is Seoul Tower on Mount Namsan from where we can admire the best views of the city. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 4 Seoul / Daegu
Breakfast. Departure to Daegu. On the way, visit a traditional village, where you can admire the houses and traditional lifestyle of the 17th and 19th centuries. The village is a reconstruction of traditional Korea, including more than 250 structures, where you can get a glimpse of the life of peasants and nobles of the past. Continue to Songnisan National Park where you will visit Beopjusa Temple, which houses the largest Buddha statue in Korea. Arrival in Daegu. Accommodation.
Day 5 Daegu / Gyeongju
Breakfast. Visit the Yangnyeongsi Oriental Medicine Museum and Seomun Market. Departure to Gyeongju, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the "Museum without Walls" due to its royal tombs and remains of palaces and fortresses. Traditional tea tasting at a local café. City tour, including Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory, built in 647. Accommodation.
Day 6 Gyeongju / Busan
Breakfast. Visit to Bulguksa Temple. Visit to Seokguram Grotto temple, located at the foot of Mount Tohan. The temple houses a large Buddha statue, considered one of the pinnacles of Buddhist art in the Far East. Continue to Busan and visit Headong Yonggungsa Temple, a Buddhist temple by the sea that offers impressive ocean views. Visit Haeundae Beach, which is probably the most famous beach in Korea. Walk around Deongbaekseom Island and visit Nurimaru APEC House. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 7 Busan
Breakfast. The day begins with a visit to the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village, known as the "Machu Picchu of Busan". Explore its alleys full of art, murals and cafés with spectacular views. Next is the picturesque Songdo Beach and we will enjoy the marine cable car, which offers impressive views of the sea and cliffs. In the afternoon, we will visit the traditional Jagalchi fish market, full of sea flavors and local life. Then stroll through the lively BIFF Square. The day ends at Busan Tower in Yongdusan Park. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Note: In case of adverse weather conditions, the cable car may be replaced by another activity.
Day 8 Busan / Seoul
Breakfast. Departure to Seoul. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.
Day 9 Seoul / Portugal
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport for boarding return flight. Night on board.
