It consist of 40 islands and cays, most of the islands and cays are uninhabited. There are two main islands, Providenciales and Grand Turk, home to Cockburn Town, the cute little colonial capital of the territory. Turks and Caicos are known for its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear blue waters, blissful surroundings and its excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities.
