Day 1 Tokyo
Arrival, reception by a Spanish-speaking assistant who will help you board the bus. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 2 Tokyo
Breakfast. Half-day tour of Tokyo, including: the Imperial Palace Plaza, residence of the Japanese imperial family (exterior view); the Meiji Shinto shrine, the Senso-ji Buddhist temple, which is reached through the lively commercial street "Nakamise". Walk through the Ginza district. Time at leisure. We recommend the tea ceremony (optional - not included). Transfer to the hotel at the client's expense. Accommodation.
Day 3 Tokyo / Hakone / Tokyo
Breakfast. Full day visit to Hakone with lunch, to see Hakone National Park, from where, if weather permits, you will take a mini-cruise on Lake Ashi and a visit to the Hakone-jinja shrine will be made. Continuation with a visit to the Hakone open-air museum. Transfer to Tokyo. Accommodation.
Day 4 Tokyo / Kyoto / Nara / Kyoto
Breakfast. Transfer to Tokyo station to board the Nozomi bullet train to Kyoto. Arrival at Kyoto station. Departure for Nara, to visit Todaiji temple with the Great Buddha "Daibutsu" and the Sacred Deer Park. Arrival at the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5 Kyoto
Breakfast. Full day visit to Kyoto with lunch, Fushimi Inari Shinto shrine, known for its thousands of "Torii" or gateways and Tenryuji Temple, bamboo forest in Arashiyama and Kinkakuji temple, also called "Golden Pavilion". Visit to Sanjusagendo temple. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 6 Kyoto
Breakfast. Day at leisure. We recommend an optional visit to Hiroshima and Miyajima (not included). Accommodation.
Day 7 Kyoto / Kanazawa
Breakfast. Transfer by road to Kanazawa. Visit to Omicho Market, Higashichaya district and Kenrokuen Garden. Time at leisure at the Market. In the afternoon, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 8 Kanazawa / Shirakawago / Takayama / Gero
Breakfast. Departure for Shirakawago, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch. Continuation to Takayama, to visit Kami-Sannomachi street. The day ends with a visit to Yatai Kaikan, exhibition hall of the floats used in traditional festivities. Transfer to Gero hotel and time at leisure to enjoy the hotel's onsen. Japanese dinner. Accommodation.
Day 9 Gero / Nagoya / Osaka
Breakfast. Transfer to Gero station on foot, to board the express train to Nagoya. In Nagoya, board the Nozomi bullet train to Osaka. Upon arrival, city tour, including Dotombori district, and Osaka Castle (without climbing the keep tower, "Tenshukaku") and a walk through the castle park to admire walls, moats and towers from the 17th century. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 10 Osaka
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport.
Remarks
- On day 4, the main luggage is sent directly from Tokyo to Kyoto (one suitcase per person), so you will only have access to it once you arrive at the Kyoto hotel.
- On day 7, for the departure transfer to the airport, only one suitcase per person is allowed; supplement for extra suitcase to be paid at destination 1,000 yen / suitcase.
- In Japan, hotels have few double rooms (with 1 double bed). As a general rule, confirmed rooms will be twin (with 2 separate beds). Double rooms are not guaranteed.
VERY IMPORTANT
- The scheduled flights arrive at Narita Airport (Tokyo). If the arrival airport is Haneda (HND), we use a taxi instead of Airport Limousine Bus.
- There are no regular transfers for flights departing from Osaka (Itami/Kansai) before 06h30, so if the flight departure time is before 08h30, this transfer will have to be done by taxi. Check supplement.
- The optional excursions offered must be booked at least 25 days before departure; after this limit it is not possible and they cannot be booked at the destination. If the minimum number of participants is not reached up to 21 days before arrival, the optional excursions may be suspended.
